The West Island Women’s Centre has been postponed

The Government of Quebec has now provided a directive regarding events of 250+ attendees and non-essential events. The West Island Women’s Forum, which has been scheduled for March 21, 2020, falls within this set of criteria. Therefore, the Centre has taken the necessary decision to postpone the West Island Women’s Forum.

We hope to hold this event later this year, once the current situation subsides. It is very important for us to take the health and safety of our participants and community members very seriously.

Over the coming days, we will be in touch with Forum registrants to provide guidance on reimbursement.

While we are very disappointed to postpone the Forum, we are heartened by all the community support for this event. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Forum organizers, staff, Board of Directors, presenters, speakers, volunteers, supporters, funders, sponsors, and partners.
